Content is explained in "public" and there is some information "special". Understand and use in view the technical specifications of the laptop hardware you are going to buy. Make no mistake buying ...

Processor

Intel vs. AMD?

Lots of debate about the two companies. But actually the two companies is the maker of the best in the world and competing to develop the best type of processor. Intel's current processors for notebooks, have better technology to save battery. But most users will have no difficulty whatever processor brands. Because there is no noticeable difference in performance between the two. Notebooks with AMD processors are usually less costly.

Intel Mobile Processor technology, latest

* Pentium M (Dothan) - Used to noteboook produced around the year 2004. This technology tailored for use in notebooks and operating power requirements of smaller and cooler than its predecessor.
* Celeron M (Dothan and Yonah) - single-core processors (single core) are cheap, suitable for running nearly all the basic applications, such as office and graphic arts. But not able to support heavy applications.
* Core Solo (Yonah) - Processors cheap structure made from the Core Duo, but only has 1 CPU core active. Core Solo Pentium M replaced in 2006.
* Core Duo (Yonah) - dual-core technology (two core) first of Intel. Core Duo (32-bit) 2 CPUs made active on processor 1 without increasing power consumption.
* Core 2 Duo (Merom) - 64-bit version of the Core Duo, performs slightly better than the Core Duo and can run Windows Vista and 64-bit applications other.

Technology AMD's Mobile Processors recent

* Sempron - Processor core 1 cheaply available in the old notebook. In place of the Athlon. The latest version already supports 64-bit applications.
* Athlon 64 - Processor 1 core, 64-bit with power consumption lower than Sempron
* Turion 64 x2 - dual-core version, the 64-bit Turion

GPU

Nvidia or ATI?

This is a topic of debate that is also popular. Both produce good graphics card. Nvidia is better in OpenGL technology and support Linux. While ATI has a better ability in the game, anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering. There was no significant difference between the two.

Most important you know how much your program needs to use the graphics card. If you use 3D applications or games that weight, you will need a VGA dedicated to high performance. If not, VGA Intel GMA 900/950 has integrated more than enough.

Memory

Of all the components in the notebook, the amount of RAM installed will have the most obvious effect. The greater the RAM, the faster the application will run. Currently, 512MB is the minimum, and it is recommended you have a 1GB, especially if you're running Windows Vista. If you are running many applications simultaneously (multitasking), you should consider to upgrade to 2GB.

There was no significant difference between 533Mhz and 667Mhz.

Memory is also one of the easiest component in an upgrade, you can even do it yourself.

Hard Drive

How much storage do you need? Do you plan to store lots of files, music, videos or photos? If so, you need a hard disk capacity is greater. But if you have limited funds, bought an external hard drive would be cheaper and could be an option.

Optical Drive

Currently almost all laptops are equipped with a DVD writer, which can also function as a CD writer, DVD reader and CD reader.

Wireless

We have all the laptops also been equipped with wireless technology. Most notebooks are equipped with PROSET Intel 3945 802.11 a / b / g Wireless card.

Battery

If you plan to frequently use your laptop without the charger plugged into the electricity, you need enough battery capacity. Currently the average notebook battery can last about 2-3 hours.

How to select a warranty?

Some notebook vendors have offered an extension of the warranty period with affordable price. If you want to use the notebook for the long term, it never hurts to consider buying extended warranties at a price ranging between 5-10% price notebook.

1962 Honda Dream Sport

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 245px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Sy3RUFYJsFI/AAAAAAAAACo/ELnVr2SPkss/s400/motor3.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5417216069767639122" />Honda Dreams weren’t exactly high-performance motorcycles. But then, they weren’t designed to be.

As one of the first models brought to the U.S. when Honda moved into the market in 1959, the 305cc Dream emphasized other elements of Honda’s approach to motorcycle-building. It was inexpensive to own, unintimidating to ride and reliable to maintain.

While those qualities may not have attracted a lot of traditional motorcyclists, they struck a chord with a new generation of riders interested in fun on two wheels. On that score, the Dream hit the mark.

There were, however, those who couldn’t ignore performance. And for them, the common Dream Touring model wouldn’t do. Instead, they sought out the rare Dream Sport, like this ’62 version owned by Pat Jones of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and previously on display in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum at AMA headquarters in Pickerington Ohio.

The Sport came with the same conservative leading-link front fork and stamped-steel frame of the Touring Dream. And it started with the same 305cc overhead-cam parallel-twin engine that put out a claimed 25 horsepower in the Touring version. Like the Touring model, the Sport also offered the convenience of electric starting, along with the low maintenance of an enclosed final-drive chain.

The main difference between the Dreams was in the exhaust system. The Touring model had Honda’s standard low pipes, while the Sport offered higher pipes, along with a different kickstart lever, footpegs and side covers to accommodate them.

This particular bike, says Jones, was one of a dozen bought by a Shriner motorcycle drill team in Memphis, Tennessee, then outfitted with extra equipment, including lights and crash bars.

“They apparently wanted the Sport model so they wouldn’t drag the exhaust pipes when they turned sharply,” Jones says.

By 1962, though, the Sport’s days were numbered. That year, Honda brought out the Super Hawk, with a hotted-up version of the 305 engine bolted into a more capable chassis. The Sport was dropped after 1963, having served its purpose of injecting a performance image into Honda’s growing line of motorcycles.

Honda Dream Type D

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 246px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Sy3SG_AWXWI/AAAAAAAAACw/usGCErs-vuI/s400/motor4.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5417216944230522210" />A performance machine it is not. The engine is a mere 98cc. It puts out all of three horsepower.

But the Dream Type D was the motorcycle that started it all for the Honda Motor Company.

After World War II ended, Soichiro Honda saw the need for reliable, basic transportation. Japans economy was limping back into shape, and the island nations transportation infrastructure, or what was left of it, was composed mainly of dirt roads.

Mr. Honda's company started by producing small engines that attached to bicycles. But by 1949, he was ready to build his first real motorcycle. With upright seating, a stamped-steel frame and a rear-mounted rack, the Dream Type D was designed above all for ease of use.

According to legend, the machines name, since associated with a variety of Honda products, was inspired by a comment made by one of Hondas employees during a company party. The workers had pushed aside the desks to toast their efforts with home-brewed sake. "It's like a dream," uttered one of the attendees. The name stuck.

This particular Dream, a 1951 model previously on display at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum at AMA headquarters in Pickerington, Ohio, is about as rare as they get, considering that Hondas weren't imported into the U.S. market until 1959.

The bike's unofficial early arrival on these shores was the result of a complex chain of events, according to the current owner, Kay Markey of Etters, Pennsylvania.

It seems that a U.S. Navy sailor, serving in the U.S. occupation forces in 1951, saw the Type D, liked it and purchased the bike in Guam while enjoying a little R&R. When the time came for him to return to the States, he shipped the bike home with his household goods. For a tune-up, he brought the bike to his local repair shop, where it was pointed out that without spare parts, it'd be difficult to fix. Perhaps, the dealer suggested, he'd be interested in trading it on a new BSA? A deal was struck.

"The dealer just pushed it downstairs in the basement workshop," Markey says. "It sat there from 1951 until we got it in 1970." It still has only 188 kilometers—about 115 miles—on the odometer, and it even bears the Japanese license plate that the sailor was issued in 1951.

Type D Dreams may not have been performers on the street, but considering all that has come after them, their place in motorcycle history is assured. And the Dream that appeared in the museum is believed to be the oldest Honda in the U.S. All thanks to the efforts of an anonymous sailor.

Heaven On Earth of Solok Selatan

in this post I want to show again that there is charm tourism area with a solok selatan Today, you'd have a hard time finding a street-legal motorcycle with an engine smaller than 250cc. But through much of the '60s, the lightweight class represented a significant part of the market for the Japanese manufacturers. And this bike, Honda's CB160, was one of the machines many young riders lusted after.

Introduced in 1965, the CB160 incorporated trickle-down technology from the rest of the company's line. Honda's original offerings in this country used stamped-steel "monocoque" frames, but starting with the 250cc Hawk and 305cc Super Hawk in '61, the sport models got more modern tubular frames. With the CB160, that updated look arrived in the lightweight class.

For a list price of $530, a young rider who may have started on a step-through Honda 50 or 90 got something that looked like a true motorcycle. And the 161cc single-overhead cam, four-stroke twin delivered on that promise, spinning up to 10,000 rpm and generating 16.5 horsepower—enough, the company claimed, for a top end of 75 mph. In a road test, Cycle World even dubbed the new bike a "baby Super Hawk."

Of course, the little Honda's performance wasn't going to intimidate the owners of Harley Sportsters and British twins that dominated the big-bike market. But it managed to get through the quarter-mile in a respectable 18.6 seconds, and its four-speed powerplant, featuring a four-main-bearing crank, proved remarkably tough.

Thousands of aspiring American motorcyclists marked their passage into the fraternity of "real" motorcyclists with the purchase of a CB160. And that list includes AMA member Stephen MacMinn, the owner of this 1965 CB160, previously on display in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum at AMA headquarters in Pickerington, Ohio.

"The first bike I ever had was a CB160 like this one," notes MacMinn. "I got it shortly after getting out of high school in 1969. I had it six months before my parents realized I'd bought it. They weren't too pleased with the idea of motorcycles at first, but they finally relented and let me ride it.

"I bought this one in 1991 in nearly original condition, and it's a rider," he adds, "I put at least a few hundred miles on it every year."

"Aia Malanca" a Naturally Water Boom From Solok Selatan

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 131px; height: 122px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Sy8ggo0CYHI/AAAAAAAAAEA/SVDSKMaSHV0/s400/wb.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5417584621833576562" />"Aia Malanca" is one of the existing natural wonders in Sangir Solok Selatan exact area and access to streaming into the area could be through the village of Nagari Sungai Rambutan Lubuk Gadang Sangir District, there "Aia Malanca". It all depended upon whether that set of red lights was flashing in your rear-view mirror or someone else's.

Honda imported a mere 25 CB450 Police Specials to the United States in 1966 in an effort to crack into the law-enforcement market. So if you came into contact with one, you could certainly count it as one of the more unique bike sightings of your life.

Based on Honda's "Black Bomber" CB450, introduced in 1965, the Police Special was entirely normal in its engine and running gear. But it incorporated some nifty anti-crime devices.

The large speedometer, for instance, was calibrated in 1-mile-per-hour increments. And with a flip of a switch, Mr. Policeman could lock the speedo reading to preserve the evidence of your illegality.

Then he'd switch on the lights and pull a lever on the left handlebar that worked the unusual siren-activation system. The lever brought a rotating steel drum into contact with the rear wheel, much like those old electrical generators on bicycles. The only difference was that this drum drove a flexible steel cable that snaked forward to spin the siren.

The Police Special also came with a solo seat backed by a small metal box for carrying an officer's ticket book.

Honda's Police Special took on Harley-Davidson for a place in America's law-enforcement community…and lost badly. Even though Honda billed it as "a big bike with a big ride," the 450 couldn't make a dent in a market that had been dominated for decades by American V-twins. So the initial U.S. shipment of 25 was also the last.

This particular Police Special, previously on display in the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio, is owned by Bob Logue of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Logue says it's one of the few 450s that saw duty, having been purchased by a police force "somewhere in Pennsylvania."

It's value? As a rarity, that's hard to pin down. But you can bet it's equal to dozens of speeding tickets on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Friend Finder..Let's Join Us.

<img style="float:left; They like to engage in gossip and bring your name into the conversation without your authorization. This might be because they want to make you look bad or to cover themselves.

Steps:
1. Assets. They will also use you because you have assets like a car, your own apt./home, make lots of money, have vacation property, to get close to your bf or brother. They will eat up your house and home and even use your beauty products. But when you confront them, they become angry. They disrespect you and your belongings. You may also notice borrowing become an issue. They borrow money and never pay you back. Borrow your clothes, property, and never give it. Return it damaged. Let other people use/wear your belongings. They may also ask for a favor but can never return a favor.
2. "It's all about me" type of friends. They always talks about themselves. Also, they could care a less about you... your day, how your feeling, etc. You may also notice that they brag a lot. Whether it be about themselves, materialistic possessions, boyfriend, getting married, or a vacation, they always find something to make them sound better than you. Seems to always have an opinion about everything. An opinion is a person's ideas and thoughts towards something. It is an assessment, judgment or evaluation of something. An egocentric person has no theory of mind, cannot "put himself in other people's shoes," and believes everyone sees what he sees (or that what he sees in some way exceeds what others see. It appears that this is shown mostly in younger children. They are unable to separate their own beliefs, thoughts and ideas from others.
3. Poor me. Always come to you when they have problems for advice, but when you need to vent or advice they're very short with you. So not fair when you don't mind spending two hours plus to cool them down; instead for you it's like five minutes. You're not a therapist. They may also stay mad at you when you two are in a fight. This is because they can only see their point of view.
4. Clingy. Can't share you with other people. When they do see you with other people, they're jealous because they want you all to themselves. Can't include you to see a movie with their boyfriend/girlfriend. Spends lots of time with them, and when their other half is busy they want you all the time. They will ditch you for them if they come around.
5. Fake. Smiles in your face, but when around other people, make you feel small by continuously putting you down verbally. They may also do things such as drugs and deny it. Considers you something else, and think it's alright to insult you heritage by using derogatory slang words around you knowing it offends you. Doesn't accept you for you for all that you are.

This is Tips for You:

* Don't set too many expectations and rules. How would you know? Why are all these rumors popping up around you? Don't let these rumors harass you. Find out who started them. The steps below are some of the ways to find out if someone is talking behind your back.
Try this steps

1. Note if they are constantly whispering to other people, and when you come they abruptly turn back. This is the most obvious sign.
2. Find out if they are suddenly asking more personal questions behind your back.
3. Watch for signs of distancing. If they used to be your friend, they are now isolating themselves away from you.

Some tips for you
* Ask a friend if he/she could be a "spy" for them. Unless the person you think is talking about you knows you are friends, you could hide close by while your friend walks up to them and says "So, ugh, what do you think of (your name)?" and then listen to their reply. If they laugh, they are probably talking about you behind your back, or think your friend is weird.

Remember!!!
* Be careful not to tell them in their face, what if they aren't the ones that said you kissed so-and-so?

Forget Bad Memories

Everyone has bad memories that trouble them, but luckily there is a way to forget them, or at least decrease their mental significance.
This is the steps
1. Sit down in a comfortable chair and close your eyes.
2. Imagine an ocean image, 3D images of the ocean are great. Try to make it into a sunset, it helps.

3. Act as if its your virtual world and you have your own friends. Look for a person you like (again make sure they look three dimesionial) play with them all day.
4. Try this, it will keep your mind off the memories you hate and will keep you busy and fun.

Some tips
* It is better if you lay down on a bed or a sofa. It doesn't matter if you fall asleep, it is relaxing and you get to play in your virtual world all day!
* You can try to swim in the ocean, it is twice the fun.
* Having relaxing background music especially of waves would make the experience more real and enjoyable
* It does not have to be an ocean-try a relaxing walk through the woods and imagine all the beautiful flowers and birds-use your imagination!
* Remember to use your senses if you want full benefits-feel the waves, breath the ocean air, see the ocean and friend in full detail, hear the sea gulls.

Remember!!
* If some memories keep on popping out, relax and force them out, not too hard.
* Do this in your spare time because you can fall asleep.

You need this
* A quiet, comfortable place.
* A good imagination.

Improve Memories

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 116px; height: 116px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Sw0wIH35VUI/AAAAAAAAABo/xoFPyCAntFs/s320/Memori.jpeg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5408031643652412738" />1. Ditch the Planner - Challenge your brain to remember things. If your brain needs to remember things, it will develop more to do so. The many memory aids we use may affect how well our memory works without these tools. If you use an agenda book or planner for school or work, try to remember things instead of writing them down. At home, go through each subject and try to remember the assignments. If you can't remember, call a friend. After a short time of doing this, you will be able to mentally note any homework easily. You can then go back to using your planner.

2. Read - Reading works your short term and long term memory (you have to remember what happened on the last page and in the last chapter). Not only is reading good for your memory, it has been proven to overall boost your intelligence.
3. Sing a Song - Mnemonics (Memory Tools) such as singing make remembering anything much easier. The sillier the song/rhyme/abbreviation is, the better. To remember numbers (such as a locker code), make a mathematical equation out of the three numbers, or remember that they add up to, for example, 53.
4. Have Fun With It - Memory games will help you associate memory with fun. For example, try to remember a certain license plate number at different times of day. This can also be used as a quick check to see how much you are improving.

Tips
* See the Sources list and read more about improving your memory quickly.

Reduce Hair Loss

When hair starts falling out it can seem like the end of the world. Follow these tips to try and reduce it as much as possible.
this is the Steps :
1. Try to identify when the hair loss started and if you changed anything with your hair. For example if you started straightening it or if you started applying lots of mousse. It is likely that this could be the reason. If you find it was due to the use of these things then stop using them.

2. Stick to one shampoo or shower gel. If it is repeatedly changed it could cause damage to your hair as shampoos aren't natural, you would be adding more and more chemical products in your hair which could damage them and cause them to fall out.

3. Oiling the hair also helps with coconut oil for example. By doing this, when you go out the pollution in the environment won't stick straight onto your hair and damage it. It will stick to the oil instead which can be washed off when you get home.

4. Wash your hair regularly, unclean hair could contain lots of damaging things. Frequent washing can help keep hair clean and healthy.

5. Wash your hair with warm to normal temperature water. Water which is too hot can also damage the hair.

6. Try and reduce stress or anxiety that is getting to you. Tension and anxiety do not help as you will be so worried your body won't be mentally healthy so this will lead to physical deterioration too which includes hair loss.

7. Do daily scalp massages as it will increase blood flow in the scalp, sending it to the hair follicles to help stimulate growth.

Some tips

* Try not to use straighteners, curlers or other chemical products such as dyes excessively, these can damage your hair if used too frequently.
* Oiling your hair can help keep hair healthier.
* Stick to one shampoo or gel.
* As you get older, your hair gets weaker so don't be too worried if a few strands of hair falling occasionally.
* Try to relax and have an optimistic view on things. A healthy mind leads to a healthy body.
* Doing 'Headstand' pose of yoga for about a minuite daily reduces the hair fall. But please consult your doctor before doing this pose.

Remember

* If you have tried all of the above methods and nothing seems to be working, see your doctor as in some cases it could be a symptom of a more serious problem.

Tips To Control Your Temper

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 100px; height: 120px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Swevvwugr-I/AAAAAAAAAAk/XLNT0RyVNc4/s320/temper.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406483112750264290" />1. Realize that things can be handled well at all times; it's just a matter of what kind of attitude you put into it.Take deep breaths.
2. Be considerate of others, and ultimately, yourself. The way you react will ultimately affect your surroundings. If you have to rebuke someone for doing something wrong, you can always do it calmly, in a private place. This method is always better for everyone in the long run.
3. Realize that no one likes to be around people who get angry easily, and act abusive. The only way you can change the situation is by starting with yourself.

4. Get away from situations where your anger might get the best of you, such as when someone is teasing you. Ignore the other person and walk away. If you must, do this a few times until the person gets the hint that you will not tolerate it. It's okay to use your words or body language to tell somebody you will not tolerate how they are treating you, as long as you respond to them in a calm and matter of fact manner, without being overtly hurtful or trying to embarrass them as they have you. It's never okay to hit somebody for making fun.
5. Say, "peace" to someone who says something that is ignorant, and then walk away.
6. If you are angry and you are standing, sit down, if you are sitting then lie down.
7. Remember that the reward for patience is happiness.
8. remember, 5 seconds stand between you and logic, count to 5, and remember that logic always beats anger.

Show to a Woman That You Care

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 130px; height: 73px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/SwevIaTNWMI/AAAAAAAAAAc/eiACijtLsrg/s320/care.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406482436715272386" />Have a special someone in mind? Wish to strengthen a friendship or relationship? Follow these simple steps to show a woman that you care for her.
So try to do this,
1. Pay attention to her. Every time she is speaking to you, make an effort to look her in the eyes and understand what she is saying. If you do not understand, tell her. This will show her that you are listening and would like to hear what she has to say.

2. Be trustworthy. Prove yourself to her daily. If you give her your word that you will be there for her, follow through. How can anyone care for someone they lie to?
3. Respect her mind, body, and soul. She is a different individual. There are many paths of life and hers may be differing from yours. Accept her and cherish her for who she is.
4. Perform random acts of kindness. Be creative. Call her when you guys are not together and tell her that you are thinking about her. Paste a note on her mirror telling her that you love her. A picture is worth a thousand words, paint her a watercolor. Leave her a flower and a sincere note.
5. Spend quality time with her. Turning off the T.V., grabbing a blanket, and lying with her beneath the stars can mean more than expensive jewelry.
6. Let her know exactly how you feel. Look within. Exactly what does this woman mean to you? Write it down. Give it to her.
7. When you are away, whether it be a business trip, or a vacation with the guys, check in with her. It's just polite! Let her know that although you're having fun, she has crossed your mind,
8. Never lose contact for a unreasonable time, if you have not seen her for a few days, let her know you are thinking about her, Girls love this.
Don't for get to remember this :
* Women are different from men,we all know that. While a man's focus may be on the physical aspects of a relationship, showing a woman that you respect and care for the sensual things will go a very long way.
* Never lie to her. Lying to a woman is a sure way to lose her respect.
* Step in and help her without being asked. Show her that you are there for her.
* Guys are actually very sensitive when it comes down to some things, so some of this may just be common sense.
* Read an ebook called "100 Ways to Show Your Love & Affection" by Gloria D. Heffner gives great ideas to add or keep the romance, love & affection in a relationship. The ideas can be tailored to your or your partner's personality(ies).
* Remember women multi-task (i.e. balancing work and family)
* Turn off the TV and turn on the romance!

Draw Attention To Your Self

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 130px; height: 130px;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Swes2iSkWTI/AAAAAAAAAAU/awsh1Mniq0k/s320/attention.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406479930599168306" />Do you want to stand out in the crowd? Make a name for yourself? Get noticed? Let's face it, just about everybody loves attention, and getting noticed can have real benefits: getting that girl (or guy) you're interested in, getting a job, or even becoming a star, for example. Why, then, does "proper" society tend to frown on drawing attention to oneself? Put simply, not all attention is equal, and people who try to draw attention to themselves often do it in unpleasant ways--think of a screaming toddler, for instance. While certain showbiz types like to say that any publicity is good publicity, you'll generally only benefit from positive attention, and drawing that kind of attention to yourself requires a little patience, thought, and tact.

This is the steps
Think of when they think of you, and it requires time and consistency to build a brand. Say you're at a new school and you want to make friends. Your brand then, should include characteristics like loyalty, friendliness, and fun. Do things that build this brand and make you a more appealing potential friend. Other examples of brands include the "bad-boy image." Be careful, though, or you'll look like you're trying too hard.
Be original. Looking at the stereotypical brands mentioned in the last step, you ma think, none of those are really what I want. That's perfectly all right. You can brand youself as pretty much anything, and whatever your brand, it should reflet your personality and original style. If you're the same as everyone else, you won't draw attention. Just remember, once again, that if you're obviously just trying to get attention, that will be your brand.
Be outstanding. When we think of the word "outstanding," we usually think of excellence, but being outstanding also means to "stand out." If you want to stand out, do your best to be the best at something. If you want to draw the attention of your spouse, for example, be the best husband or wife you can be. If you want to get a better job, be extaordinarily competent in your current job and seek to learn more to advance your career. You don't always have to be outstanding at somehing that's directly related to your goal. For example, you'll find that people who are very succesful in whatever pursuit they choose in life often draw the attention of, or date, beautiful women or good-looking guys, even if their particular field of excellence has nothing to do with being a good mate. If you're outstanding at something, just about anything, you'll draw people's attention.
Be subtle. A patient, subtle approach is important in developing your image because if you look like you're trying too hard to draw attention, you'll simply end up branding yourself as someone who craves attention, which is generally not a desirable attribute. As an example, imagine you want to get attention in order to make friends. If you stand on your head and insult people, you'll likely get attention for a little while, but you probably won't make friends--everybody will know you're just desperate for attention. On the other hand, if you draw attention to yourself by wearing a smile, making a conversation with people, or joining a sports team, you'll build a more positive brand and get more attention in the long run.
Be humble. Be outstanding, be confident, be assertive, but don't be arrogant. Even if you truly excel at just about everything, people will try to tune you out--or even resent you--if you are a jerk. Don't tell people how awesome you are, show them, and don't make a big deal out of it. Don't blow your own horn too much.

Some Tips For All
Had enough cliches yet? Here's one more. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Being a show-off won't get you positive attention, at least not for long. In human relationships, being pleasant and helpful will usually get you the best kind of attention time after time.
Be outstanding in something you really love to do. Don't try to be a rich lawyer just because you think it will get you girls or will impress your parents. Do it because you love to do it, or be outstanding at something else.

Remember!!!
Draw attention to yourself in the wrong ways, and you'll likely end up getting ignored. You need to make a conscious effort day in and day out to draw positive, beneficial attention, but make your effort look effortless, and draw attention by doing positive things.
Drawing attention to yourself isn't always good. You don't want to draw the attention of the tax man, for example, or the playground bully.

Tips For Survive Kidnapping

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 146px; height: 96px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_M6lkq27YhhI/Swek-bkIiyI/AAAAAAAAAAM/UDMwe783Drk/s320/images.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5406471270139726626" />Anyone may be kidnapped or have a member of their family kidnapped. Unfortunately, most people don't know how to deal with kidnappers or how to survive the ordeal if they themselves are kidnapped or taken hostage.
This is the steps

1. There's a simple procedure for dealing with kidnappers: forget everything you've ever seen in the movies and go to the authorities for help. (They don't do that in the movies or novels because it makes the plot too simple.) In real life, the experts know how to deal with kidnappers and can track them down. The authorities can get the kidnap victim back if it is possible to do so IF you contact them right away at the first sign of trouble.
2. If you're in the US, contact the local police (they'll know where to go from there) and if you're in a foreign country, contact your embassy.
3. If you are in danger of being kidnapped, you should be cautious about being in areas where you are unprotected and vulnerable. Don't jog on roads or in a park (unless you can afford a body guard); avoid being on the streets by yourself. Get your exercise in a private area and only drive whenever possible.
4. Any threatening phone calls or letters should be reported to the police even if they appear to be a hoax. Even if the person who is harassing you is only perpetrating a hoax, he should be caught and punished. Many such hoaxes are often unstable and may become dangerous if they aren't helped. Kidnappers and killers of well-known people have a history of mental problems and often have made numerous threats before actually carrying one of them out. Often family members of a kidnapping victim only learn of a kidnapping when the criminal calls to make his demands. If this happens to you or your family, it is essential that the person answering the phone learn as much as possible. Any clue may speed up the rescue of the kidnap victim. The person answering the phone must pay careful attention and take notes immediately before they forget any details (having a note pad by the phone is a good idea).
5. Let the kidnappers know about any special medical conditions. If the victim of the kidnapping has any special medical conditions, be sure the kidnappers know about them (it may be impossible to convey this information, but try).
6. Do not demand to talk to the person that has been kidnapped. That's Hollywood again. You may succeed in getting a family member beat up while you listen. Trying to force the criminal to do something when he's keyed up is a good way to create more problems. Stay calm, get as many details as possible, and don't make any threats or promises.
7. After the criminal has finished calling, get in touch with the police. After they have been contacted, try to reach the family member that the caller said was kidnapped. You may find that the call is a hoax or there might have been a foul-up that prevented the family member from being kidnapped.
* If you are able to reach the family member, he or she must take measures to get into a safe area since the kidnappers may have made an error in timing and might still attempt the kidnapping. Calling the family member may give them a warning and time to thwart the soon-to-be-attempted crime.
* Shortly after being contacted, the police will arrive at your home to ask an array of questions which will aid them in saving your family member from harm. Again, remain calm and try to answer their questions to the best of your ability.
1. When speaking to the police in your home, exclude any servants, maids, etc., from the discussion (probably the police will do this, but if not, then try to do so yourself).
* If the hired help has seen suspicious persons, etc., the less the hired help hears in the way of other's descriptions, the less likely they are to have their memory of what they've seen changed and influenced. Any descriptions they have will be more valuable to the police.
* Too, the less each of the people who work for you knows about the police plans, the better. since it is remotely possible that one of the hired hands may be working in concert with the kidnappers. Keep any "inside" criminal involved in the kidnapping from sitting in on the plans being made by you and the police.
8. In hostage and kidnap situations, time is on the side of the victim. The longer a victim remains alive, the better his chances of surviving the ordeal (provided negotiations don't break down). The first few minutes are often the deciding factor.
9. Chances of surviving are improved if the victim engages the kidnappers in small talk, etc. This will cause the criminals to see the victim as a person rather than a thing. Later on, this will make it harder for them to kill the victim if things get down to that. Getting on a talking basis could save the victim's life.
10. Kidnapping victims should forget the tough-guy Hollywood acts they've seen and avoid antagonizing criminals; needling them will only make things worse and may ruin a chance to escape later on. Better to act the part of the "slave" rather than to go into a Dirty Harry routine.
11. The kidnapping victim should keep track of what is going on, what the kidnappers are doing, what they call themselves, how many of them there are, etc. This information may be needed to help in the victim's escape or to later identify the kidnappers.
12. The kidnapping victim should not tell the criminals their demands can't be met (nor should those who speak to the criminals during the initial phone call). Telling them that may make them panic and kill their victim!
13. While the victim should act passive, he should be careful that he doesn't pass up a chance to escape if it presents itself. Usually after the initial first hours of the kidnapping the criminals will become careless if the victim has shown no signs of trying to escape. Unless the kidnapping victim is in immediate danger, he should bide his time and wait for a slip-up among the criminals and then use the opportunity to escape.
14. Victims of a kidnapping sometimes start identifying with the criminals after being around them for a while. Work to combat this bonding if you are a victim of a kidnapping.
15. If you and/or your family work with the police, you should be able to get a family member back unharmed and capture the criminals as well.
16. Sometimes a hostage situation will occur during a crime or a terrorist attack. Though the chances of this happening to a person are very, very remote, it doesn't hurt to know what to do.
17. Your chances of surviving the ordeal are excellent provided you survive the first hours of the situation.
18. You may find that you are having to keep the hostage takers calm if you are a hostage. Again, being a "tough guy" is a good way to get killed in a hostage situation. Stay calm, don't make trouble, and let the authorities bring in the people who are trained to deal with terrorists. If you can just keep a hostage taker from doing anything crazy the first few minutes of the situation, you can probably survive it.
19. You should try to remain a part of the group that is being held hostage. Don't stick out or you may be singled out. If you have a lot of money or are famous, don't let the hostagetaker know it or he'll try to use you for a bargaining chip.
1. Sometimes hostages overpowered the criminals involved. This is certainly admirable, but also quite dangerous. If you are going to try such a self-rescue, be sure that you know how many criminals there are and be sure you can overpower them. Things could get a little tense if you try to overpower them and fail. Unless you are in danger of being killed momentarily, it is usually better not to try to overwhelm a group of terrorists.
20. If the hostage takers start making threats on the lives of the hostages or acting in a bizarre manner, you should start thinking about ways to run for freedom and try to keep as far as possible from the members of the terrorist group. This will help keep you from "being there" if a terrorist vents his anger and will also keep you out of the line of fire if the authorities come in shooting or have a sniper end the situation.
21. If a rescue is attempted, hit the floor unless the authorities instruct you to do otherwise. Don't try to pick up a criminal's weapon or pull out one of your own if you have one concealed on your person. Doing so will get you killed; teams trained to rescue hostages have to operate by reflex. Anti-terrorist teams are trained to shoot anyone with a weapon without trying to otherwise identify them. You'll be mistaken for one of the criminals and will undoubtedly be shot if you're standing there with a weapon.
22. You can survive being a hostage or kidnap victim IF you are careful and know exactly what to do.

Some tips
* Children need to be taught to be cautious and to be a little suspicious of strangers (care must be taken, of course, not to turn your child into a paranoid). The goal of most parents is to get their child to be outgoing and friendly with strangers; this can be a big mistake. Teach your child to be careful.
* If they're small, don't let children play in the yard where you can't watch them and be sure the bedrooms for each of your family members are well out of an area where a person could easily break into it (having your bedrooms on the second story of a house makes a lot of sense).
* The rich are more apt to suffer from a kidnapping which is designed to generate a ransom. If you are rich or famous, then the chances are better than average that you or a member of your family may be a kidnap victim.
* Keep a low profile and don't let newspapers, magazines, or TV crews get pictures of you or family members (such pictures make it easy for would-be kidnappers to identify you).
* On the job, you should be careful not to have your name displayed on reserved parking areas and you should try to vary your schedule and route that you take to and from work.
* There is a chance that if you just pretend you are weak and don't do much the kidnappers will be more careless and that will give you at least a chance to escape.
* When the SWAT/ETF/SRU/ETU team arrives stay moderately hidden because it will hide you from the hostage takers and will keep you visible to the rescuers.

Remember!!!!
* Too many parents leave children alone in the house or in an automobile. While this practice was relatively safe ten years ago, it no longer is.
* Care should be taken when picking out baby sitters; a baby sitter has a lot of responsibility. You should consider things other than the cost of the sitter when you're hiring someone to look after a child. Older children are not always good baby sitters; find out about a baby sitter BEFORE you leave your children with them.
* Some parents seem to be trying to have their children kidnapped. The children wander or play along the streets totally unsupervised. Don't allow children to go to questionable areas of the town or city you're in, and be sure they are always supervised when outside.
